NEDA Regional Office XI supports this year’s celebration of the Development Policy Research Month (DPRM), with the theme: “Going Green and Digital for a More Sustainable, Inclusive, and Prosperous Future for All.”  The theme highlights the twin transition–digital and green transformation–as a way forward for the Philippines to attain a more sustainable, inclusive, and prosperous future, build back better after the COVID-19 pandemic, and achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.

Proclamation 247, issued by Malacañang in September 2002, declared the month of September of every year as DPRM. The DPRM underscores the need to promote, enhance, instill, and draw awareness and appreciation of the importance and necessity of policy research in development planning and policymaking. It also aims to improve the public’s awareness and understanding of significant socioeconomic issues.
